A love for vintage
Automaton was born from my husband, Dex’s, passion for everything vintage. Over many years, he built an extensive collection of vintage furniture and art, until he finally turned it into a business, becoming a dealer in 2015.
While he is the driving force behind Automaton, I support his efforts by designing and managing the Automaton website, as well as assisting with reupholstery projects, sourcing, and photography.

Omersas are leather animals that have been handmade in England since 1927. We have one of the largest collections of these adorable creatures, possibly in the world, from their five-inch mouse paperweight to their massive six-foot- foot long Super Rhino.
Dogs & Design
As always, our dogs are an ever present part of what we do. They love “testing out” all the new furniture that comes in, making sure it’s comfortable and doggie approved!
